Acceptable Location with Service Issues

The location was key it was right in the middle of everything.
The breakfast buffet was adequate but not 5-star the service was pretty awful. I expected to be seated and asked if I wanted coffee but you were told to find seats and fight to get coffee. Staff was short staffed or poorly trained. It was 4pm before our room was serviced each day so there were not enough staff.

My room lacked a safe. This was inconvenient . The complimentary coffee pods were unexpectedly charged at the end of my stay. I found that signage regarding charges would have been helpful. The dark room was also a bit of a downer.

the welcome was great. the rooms were larger than expected. the fact that i stayed in a castle was amazing. the location was perfect for exploring the town.
I found the gym equipment selection a bit limited. There were only a few machines available. a greater variety of equipment would improve the workout experience.
